Summer in Bali

Almost every 6 months I always travel to Bali or other exotic places in Indonesia. I have ever stay Bali during my junior school, I miss Bali very much Bali has changed lot now. The most significant change is on tourism, now Bali has more tourist attraction, instagramable cafes, and even traditional village who opened to the public. Unfortunately I only has 4 days to stay in Bali.

Day 1: Culinary Tourism

Famous for it’s Pork Ribs, Naughty Nuri’s became very popular after many celebrities, including fashion designer, Donna Karan, and major film stars like Julia Roberts have visited Naughty Nuri’s and loved the ribs. Author, Elizabeth Gilbert who wrote Eat, Pray, Love was a regular at Naughty Nuri’s for many years while living and working in Ubud, Bali. But unfortunately I can’t tasting it famous Pork Ribs due to religious reason, No worry Naughty Nuri’s also serve a very crunchy Nuri’s fish wing it awesomely deep fried Baramundi fish wings. For drink if you looking for tropical breeze I recommend to try Nuri’s Pineapple Crush.

The price is little bit pricey, But it worth for deliciously taste and very cozy place for hanging out with friends. Naughty Nuri's also serve radler beer, it only Rp 35.000 not expensive at all you can order radler for just hanging out while enjoying summer in Bali.

Day 2: Sunset in Bali

The best locations for sunset watching in Bali include the collection of main beaches along the western coastline. Some of these spots feature several temple landmarks that add an exotic silhouette to the dramatic postcard pictures that will stay in your lasting memory. Some beaches offer unobstructed sea and sky panoramas with fiery streaks of cloud layers, while others have the lone golden disc behind tiered shrines. Such sights are simply not to be missed in Bali.

LV8 Resort in Canggu has one of the best sunset view in Bali, also has infinity pools overlooking the beach and sea in Bali. Ambiance is perfect for chilling and also for lap swimming day and night.

Day 3: Life begins after Coffee

Most of time in Bali we spend with hangout together. Our daily activities as dentist was very hectic we don't have much time for hanging out together with sipping Cappuccino. So in our holiday we spend time for trying one of the best coffee shop in Canggu, Bali.

Day 3: Enjoying hot spring in side of lake

There is nothing more fun than enjoying hot spring while treated with Mt.Agung panorama in Bali. This hot spring located in side of lake Batur. The view is amazing, but the entrance was separated between local and foreigners, different fees and also different pool for local tourist or foreigner.  The entrance fee for local was Rp. 60k while foreigner Rp. 180k. The difference was only the area inside. There was one area where locals were not allowed to enter where foreigners might enjoy all areas inside. I know it is a bit racist but If you’re a local tourist you’re allowed to enter foreigner pool which is you must pay with foreigner price but you can enjoy bigger and cleaner pool.

Day 4: Most of clean village in the world

There are some indigenous Balinese in Bali, mostly they stay in the eastern Bali, some villages they stay become famous spots for tourism, like Tenganan, Panglipuran and Trunyan, they are original Balinese long stay in this island before Hindu-Javanese migrated to Bali. If you want to see some of Balinese traditional village, I highly reccomend you to see here.

Good experience, however the distance is very far it’s about 1,5 or 2 hour drive from Denpasar City. The village has unique temple at the top of the village. It's very picturesque and friendly locals here, locals sit outside their house and talk to you and invite you to look at their house only and lead you into their shop inside their house. They sell traditional potion called jamu, food, beverage and many more. oh there is also a bamboo forest behind the village too.

After spend 4 days in Bali we must back to reality back to Surabaya :(. Yeah, that was my review about my 4 days Bali vacation this summer. Hope you enjoy and have a nice day :)
